People Photographer

Photographing people is an area of so many different facets. There are formal settings, informal settings, portraits, and candid shots. Even within a well-defined brief, there is scope for a number of different interpretations. This is where I pride myself on working closely with you. It is vital that we both have the same understanding of what a particular image is trying to achieve. We both need to be sure of exactly what the images should portray, because with people even the subtlest changes in expression, lighting, camera angles; even just the atmosphere in a room can completely transform the feel of an image. A shoot for a high profile corporate client requires a very different approach to a school prospectus, although the quality and power of the images would still be of the same high standard. Some sitters are easier to work with than others, and I have the ability to relax sitters so that we get the best possible photographs. People photography can be demanding, and I adapt well and excel at being able to photograph a number of different activities one on top of the other at corporate events and large public gatherings.

My portfolio of work includes projects for a large and diverse group of clients including large corporations, builders and architects, manufacturers, hotels and caterers, tourism boards, advertising and design agencies. I am highly experienced in all aspects of professional photography, having produced work for use in leaflets, brochures, corporate literature, web sites, billboards, magazines, mail order catalogues, sites, press releases, marketing literature, and product packaging.
I will travel anywhere in Europe for a project.
