Architectural/Building Photographer
I work hard to produce exciting images that will capture the essence
of your project. The shape and design of one building will suggest
an approach very different from another building. Many structures are
quite plain and some look very similar, so turning these into images
that create a positive and distinctive impact can be a huge challenge
for the photographer.
The location of your building will also influence
the way a project is approached. For example, an inner city skyscraper
will present very different challenges to an industrial site. Modern
architecture requires a totally different approach to traditional buildings.
Achieving the correct composition and lighting often involves long hours
and early starts. In most cases, the lighting is provided by nature,
and the photographer needs to be quick-witted and adaptable, not to mention
patient.
Architectural photography is a very demanding area of photography.
I pride myself on my ability to produce images that capture both the
art and the functionality of your project. My years of experience in
this field have taught me that there is always something new to learn,
and I enjoy the challenge that architectural photography offers.
My portfolio of work includes projects for a large and diverse group
of clients including large corporations, builders and architects, manufacturers,
hotels and caterers, tourism boards, advertising and design agencies.
I am highly experienced in all aspects of professional photography, having
produced work for use in leaflets, brochures, corporate literature, web
sites, billboards, magazines, mail order catalogues, sites, press releases,
marketing literature, and product packaging.
I will travel anywhere in Europe for a project.
